    Big drawback for newer Samsung TVs I bought this remote so I would only have one to use between my receiver and Samsung TV. For the most part its a decent universal remote. Looks nice, is relatively thin, and button presses feel responsive. Unfortunately there’s a big drawback when using this remote with newer Samsung Smart TVs. The button you would think would take you back a page in whichever application you’re using exits the application completely. What’s even worse is that there is no button for “back” mapped…

    Best $15 spent, and a time saver too. Best $15 ever spent. I bought a Samsung TV to replace a Vizio TV. I have a Vizio sound bar who’s volume could be adjusted when using the cable remote programmed for the TV. When I paired the Samsung to the cable remote I could not control the sound bar volume. I tried programming AUX with the Vizio TV code, no luck.. I called the cable company. No luck. I called vizio, no luck. I was not going to spend >$50 on a remote to control a $120 sound bar.     Cannot Live Without Holy Mother of Pearl this remote is all that my husband and I can talk about since opening it. It made our cumbersome Apple TV into an everyday use item. Plus, this turns the soundbar into our default audio, no more having to play with it everytime we turn on the TV.This thing comes straight out of the box already working with my Samsung TV and my Apple TV.
